Fortnite players get free refunds because the Terminator skin didn’t come with an emote
If you've looked at the Fortnite item shop class of late, you probably know that the Terminator (yes, the Exterminator) and Sarah Connor are now available as Fortnite skins. An early interlingual rendition of the annunciation of the new crossing suggested that the Terminator would accompany a built-in emote. It doesn't! So Epic poem's big unconscious free refunds instead.
With the Cyberdyne Salute emote, your character gives a thumbs in the lead, and so their arm bursts into flames – you know, fair-minded like the finish of Terminator 2. It's 300 Fortnite V-Bucks in the item shop and, importantly, not just a constitutional emote for the T-800 skin, scorn initially beingness announced as so much.
"If you purchased the T-800 outfit and are no more satisfied with your purchase," Epic says in an update to that initial announcement blog, "you volition be able to make a refund using the in-game menses (no repayment token required) starting next hebdomad. Be on the lookout for an in-game notification when it's purchasable. Thanks for playacting!"
That update was made just before the weekend, but those free refunds aren't live clean eventually. You can refund the Exterminator using a refund token, but if you want to save those tokens for something else, righteous clutch for a bit for the justify returns to go live.
Epic has been pretty active about offering free refunds to Fortnite players for even minor tegument changes, same when the NFL skin for the Washington Eleven had to undergo a sudden name and stigmatisation change this year.
